What is Academic Integrity?

  • Academic Integrity is honest and responsible in maintaining the originality of our own academic related affairs. Meaning that as a student we need to submit our original work and give credit to other people’s ideas. Thus, we need to avoid plagiarism.

  • Plagiarism is the process when someone stealing another person’s ideas without give a credit to other people’s work and act like your own ideas for your benefit . This will commit into a serious legal.
  • As a students we should be honest and responsible to our own. If we did not take plagiarism as a serious crime, how can we get a great pointer later on?
Ways to avoid Plagiarism

What is considering as Plagiarism ?

  1. Turn someone else’s work as your own
  2. Copying so many words or ideas from the a sources that end up it make up the majority of your work .
  3. Stealing other people’s ideas without giving credit.
  4. Reproducing figures from another source without permission.
  5. Reusing your own previously published without citations.
