Getting to know UiTM

Type of resources :

  • Academic Resources – which is also called as scholarly sources. These sources include library, Information Technology and computing, Registrar etc. In UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Jengka example of the academic resources that can be found here is Hal Ehwal Akademik ( HEA ), Fast Truck, Library Al-Bukhari and Infra Sc Tech building.

• Housing, Dining and Transportation Resources – this is to provide the best living for the students. Example of this resources is Kolej Tun Fatimah, Kompleks Tok gajah, Kolej Mat Kilau and Bus stop as a transportation resources. Facilities such as buses and dining places are also provided at each of the college in UiTM Jengka.

• Student organization resources – is defined as an association of students that is created for any educational or social resource. These resources include extra-curricular and leisure activities for the student. For example, Hal Ehwal Pelajar (HEP), Court Futsal, Unit Sukan etc.

The Important Departments in UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Jengka

The 5 important departments in UiTM Cawangan Pahang Kampus Jengka are as follows:

  1. Students Affairs Department or HEP – it is one of the important departments in the organizational structure of UiTM Jengka . It offers various services to students such as existences of rules and regulations for the students.
  2. Academic Affairs Department or HEA – it is important departments in manages all academic affairs of the university such as examination management, student intake, student registration and record, convocations etc. This department also responsible to provide education that produces students with the necessary knowledge, skills, attitudes, values and work habits.
  3. Department of Facilities Management or Infrastruktur – is responsible in managing asset and facilities of the University. It plays an important role to ensure that all the facilities are well managed and controlled.
  4. Department of Psychiatry Medicine – is dedicated in providing a high quality education in mental health. It plays an important role to ensure all students will be given exposure to mental health topics.
  5. Curriculum affairs – The Cocurriculum Unit is responsible to offer compulsory courses for students. The courses are designed to produce better graduates. It also plays an important role in plan, manage, implement and evaluate the implementation of co-curricular course in UiTM .
