The Differences between school and university life
Everyone knows that school and university life have so many difference . In high school i believe that we are actually try to help our self to gain a sense of what it is like to become an adult . Meanwhile, in university we are more likely trying to survive by our own. It is when you start focusing on your career and become more serious towards what you want to achieve. Therefore, we must know how to fully manage our time , expenses and our responsibilities. This help us to become more independent in the future.
Throughout my transition into the college lifestyle i have experienced so many culture shock here. I admit it is hard for me at first to adapt with the new environment in university life but somehow i manage to adapt with it. At the end, i am glad that i can finally survive in university life and live happily with it. 🙂
Some of the differences between school and university are as follows:

Learning Styles
Learning style is a method on how you concentrate and memorize a new information during study. Variety way of learning style shows students learn differently. Learning styles fall into three categories. The three type of Learning styles are :
Characteristics of Learning Styles
- Auditory learning style – prefer to listening and discussion to learn.
- Visual learning style – prefer to use graphics , reading and observation to learn.
- kinesthetic learning style – prefer to use physical hands-on and practical activities to learn and understand.

Based on result below, It shows that i am a visual learner.
Summary :
Throughout my researches on the learning style ( based on the result above ), i am a visual learner but somehow i prefer an auditory learning style better . This is because, i can memorize easily when i read out loud and also i prefer study in group better more than study alone because this will help me understand something new better and ASAP. However, i noticed that i am actually study better when i make my own notes , make mind maps and use a flashcards when study. Thus, this prove that i am a visual learner and not an auditory learner even though i prefer to study in that way.
Few of my skills when learning are as follows :

Characteristics of successful students
8 steps to university success are as follows:
- Always study hard
- Always attend all classes
- Give a full respect to our lecturer, parents and friends
- Be nice to everyone
- Form a study group with friends
- Work hard on every semester
- Never miss a prayer
- Always participate in class
I noticed that to become a successful student we have to avoid from being selfish and overly focused on ourself, but instead we have to always help each other. This will help us throughout the university life. Not only that, as a student we need to be a hardworking type of person in every semester, so that we will always get a 3.5 pointer and above. We must also respect everyone especially our parents to get a bless from them. 🙂
